Chicago’s love for discussing sports often appears to exceed their love and support of Chicago’s sports franchises. In an era of 140 character responses to sports-posts, an era of anonymous responses, and the era of text messages, deep discussion over sports has degraded into rounds of “pot-shots.” I hope this site not only entertains — the ultimate purpose of sport — but inspires thoughtful discussions. I hope to hold the discussion on this site to a higher standard than most social media sites.

Topics covered will include, Pro-sports, college-sports, sports-talk radio, tv coverage, and various other topics. By and large, the topics will center on Chicago sports, but a national sports are certainly going to make their way into this blog.
